This is a very good book, written by someone who really understands the SketchUp arena. The book has an introduction to modeling in Sketchup, an insightful description of rendering options, and an introduction to programming in Ruby. For me, the book could use greater emphasis on modeling and Ruby, as some of the subtleties of rendering are not matched by the depth of modeling descriptions. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, found it to be extremely helpful, and read it in its entirety.
Good general read on SketchUp. As advanced and basic adjunct SketchUp Instructor, I like the book for the basics more so than the advanced aspect of the book. I do recommend it for beginners.
Interesting selection of topics but covers no subject deep enough

I just flipped through this book and realized there is nothing new to learn and I am not even a sketchup pro.
